Re-Union

Sum1 said once in an SMS: Few Relations In World Never Die..that's what friends r supposed 2 b.... In case u have not got the connection right, check the 1st letter of each word in the italicised part above!! I finally realised that was true recently....


I had been to B'lore recently, to meet up wid a frnd on her b'day & 2 catch up wid sum old pals...Thanks 2 Indian Railway Service, i reached the Majestic station about half an hr late (The THANKS was genuine...last time i had reached 8 hrs late!!!), only 2 learn that my old pals were late(trusting the Indian Railway!!) n my frnd(b'day gal) was waiting just outside the station s she was also a bit late....neway, after lots of confusion (which included my frnds lookin 4 me inside the platform when i was out of it by a comfortable margin of 15 mins!!), we re-united.... After breif hugs(we r guys, remember, n in this part of d world, we r NOT supposed 2 have lengthy hugs, unless we want to portray that we r GAY!!) and few pleasantries (selected collection of beep beeps)..we settled down to a table.....Time flew so easily that we hardly had noticed....soon it was time to settle 4 d night...journey from majestic was about 1-1.5 hr by a Volvo..forget a BMTC bus!! So we departed wid the plans of meeting next day at 11 O clock, which got revised to 12 O clock to suit the late-risers!!


Next day, we met at 12.30 sharp... (IST mein half an hour late isnt considered late)...and after munching sum chicken pieces....left for a cafe cum bar....I settled 4 a cold coffee n others had chilled beer....we started reminding our old days, hw things have changed. No fixed topics, just leg-pulling, remembering old scams, plain free-flowing discussion on anything under the sun...and time raced by...


Soon it was time to depart...fill our heart with these fond hours of memory and go back to our places, back to work.......that half-day spent was so lively, so easy-going; that "sometimes I wish  I could...Turn back Time....." n relive those lazy minutes over n over.....
